saunas, buffets, & pine trees

One of the prime time memories we shared while Jodie was here was our rendezvous at the Four Seasons in Carmelo, Uruguay...Jodie's papa works at the Four Seasons in Santa Barbara and was able to hook us up with an unreal suite at this unreal resort set amidst sprawling countryside and towering pine. Tranquility at its best. Although our days were few, we took advantage of every last amenity...

Our cozy dwelling.

Relaxing in the robes and slips was divine...

An intense round of pool.

A few of the pampered highlights...
...the morning buffet (an unbelievable spread) that was included...and better yet, we got to order from the actual menu itself! Due to our tight budget, the morning feast was our main food source...otherwise we hoarded the apple and almond bowls, straight up emptying them into our pockets.
....hours and hours lounging at the spa...I think we clocked in a good 7-8 hours each day.
...wandering around the premises of the resort- the crisp air, trees, and wide open space did me well.
